Verse 115–116

ऋषिरुवाच ॥ ११५ ॥ इत्युक्ता सा तदा देवी गम्भीरान्तःस्मिता जगौ। दुर्गा भगवती भद्रा ययेदं धार्यते जगत् ॥ ११६ ॥

ṛṣiruvāca || 115 || ityuktā sā tadā dēvī gambhīrāntaḥsmitā jagau | durgā bhagavatī bhadrā yayēdaṁ dhāryatē jagat || 116 ||

Translation

he sage said: Thus addressed, the Goddess, with profound inner calm and smiling, spoke. She is Durga, the Blessed and Auspicious One, by whom this world is sustained.
