Verse 17–19
या देवी सर्वभूतेषु चेतनेत्यभिधीयते। नमस्तस्यै ॥ १७ ॥ नमस्तस्यै ॥ १८ ॥ नमस्तस्यै नमो नमः ॥ १९ ॥
yā dēvī sarvabhūtēṣu cētanētyabhidhīyatē | namastasyai || 17 || namastasyai || 18 || namastasyai namō namaḥ || 19 ||
Translation
That Goddess who abides in all beings as Consciousness, salutations to her, salutations to her, salutations to her, again and again.

Meaning
The gods recognize the Goddess not as a distant deity, but as the very faculty of awareness and sentience (Chetana) within every living entity. She is the light of knowledge that enables perception and experience.
