Meaning
More praise of the form: each word distinct (abhivyakta-pada), the commentary says correct in grammar, no syllable swallowed or dragged; plain (spaṣṭa), welcome (iṣṭa), and satisfying (tuṣṭimat). The care of the sages for the way a thing is said may surprise the modern reader; for them, clear speech is part of truth. A muddled account of a real insight confuses; a clear one awakens. The reader may consider how they speak of what matters most to them.
