Translation
O Sharvani, as you incessantly drink the nectar-like waves of Sarasvati’s skillful hymns with your ear-cups, the cluster of earrings on your moving head, jingling loudly in wonder and praise, seems to declare your response.

Meaning
The Goddess, addressed as Śarvāṇi, is depicted listening to Sarasvati’s eloquent hymns (sūktīḥ), likened to nectar-waves, with her ears acting as cups (śravaṇa-culukābhyām). Her head moves in appreciation, causing her earrings to jingle, as if responding with praise (prativacanam). In the Śrīvidyā tradition, this portrays her as the embodiment of divine wisdom, delighting in Sarasvati’s eloquence, which flows from her own power. The verse highlights her grace and the subtle interplay of beauty and intellect, central to Shakta devotion.
