Translation

O Chandi, your feet, as if laughing at celestial women’s moon-like nail-closed hand-lotuses and divine trees, give fruits to heaven-dwellers with sprout-like tips and constantly bestow auspicious prosperity on the poor by day.

Meaning

The Goddess’s feet (caraṇau), with radiant nails (nakhaiḥ), surpass celestial women’s hands (nākastrīṇāṁ kara-kamala) and divine trees (divyānāṁ tarūṇāṁ), granting fruits (phalāni) to celestials (svaḥsthēbhyaḥ) and prosperity (bhadrāṁ śriyam) to the poor (daridrēbhyaḥ). Addressed as caṇḍi, she embodies fierce compassion. In Śrīvidyā, her feet are sources of abundance. The verse reflects Shakta devotion, praising her feet’s benevolence.
