Meaning

The three lines (tisrō rēkhāḥ) on the Goddess’s neck (galē) are skilled in musical expression (gati-gamaka-gīta), symbolizing the three grāmas (musical scales) and their sweet melodies (madhura-rāga). Formed in her marriage (vivāha) to Shiva, they represent divine qualities (praguṇa-guṇa). In Śrīvidyā, her neck embodies nāda (sound) and harmony. The verse reflects Shakta devotion, likening her neck’s lines to the essence of music and cosmic order.
