Meaning

The Goddess’s feet (tvat-pādau), likened to lotuses (sarōjaṁ), melt the snow (himānī) of Shiva’s Himalayan abode (hima-giri-nivāsa), symbolizing her power over him. They rest at night (nidrāṇaṁ) but shine in the dawn (carama-bhāgē viśadau), granting prosperity (śriyam) like Lakshmi’s vessels (lakṣmī-pātraṁ). Addressed as janani, her feet triumph (jayataḥ). In Śrīvidyā, they represent liberation and abundance. The verse reflects Shakta devotion, praising her feet’s wondrous glory.
