Meaning
One might object that as long as a mind remains, it will breed new vāsanās and new bondage. The answer is that the mind is nothing but a mass of vāsanās; when they waste away, nothing is left to hold it together, and it dissolves as surely as snow when the cold that kept it frozen has passed.
