Meaning
A drop thrown from a waterfall falls at once; an old leaf drops without a push. The body falls the same way: not by any great effort of fate, but "without effort" (ayatnena), of its own nature, in "a few days". The commentary: this body, like a puppet, falls quickly with no exertion. The reader is shown how little it takes for the body to end: nothing at all.
