Meaning
The Siddhas count it their good fortune (mahat-puṇya) to have heard. The words give great joy (mahāhlāda) not to the senses but to the understanding (dhī). That is a precise claim. The joy of the senses has been shown at length to pass; the joy of the understanding, the delight of seeing clearly, is of another kind. The reader who has felt the gladness of understanding something at last, even something sad, knows this joy.
