Verse 24
समस्तरोमकूपेषु निजरश्मीन् दिवाकरः । कालश्च दत्तवान् खड्गं तस्याश्चर्म च निर्मलम् ॥ २४ ॥
samasta roma kūpeṣu nija raśmīn divākaraḥ | kālaś ca dattavān khaḍgaṁ tasyāś carma ca nirmalam || 24 ||
Translation
'The sun-god (Sūrya) endowed all the pores of her skin with his own rays. And Kāla (Time, or Yama/Shiva) gave her a sword and a spotless shield.'
