Meaning
The sage begins to describe the specific contributions of each god to the Goddess's form. This is a profound concept: her body is a mosaic of divine powers. Her face, from Shiva, represents transcendent authority; her hair, from Yama, symbolizes power and justice; her arms, from Vishnu, signify protective action. This verse starts an intricate process where each part of her body is fashioned from the unique power of a different deity, making her the totality of all divine forces.
