Translation

Meaning
Mānasa pūjā is worship performed in the mind: each verse offers one of the sixteen services of worship, the ṣoḍaśa upacāras, made of the finest things imaginable. The first offering is the Goddess’s sandals, as one welcomes an honoured guest.
