नाऽरौ नाऽऽत्मनि नो मित्रे न राज्ये न च मातरि । न संपदा न विपदा तस्याऽऽस्था न विभो बहिः ॥ ४४ ॥
nā’rau nā’’tmani nō mitrē na rājyē na ca mātari | na saṁpadā na vipadā tasyā’’sthā na vibhō bahiḥ || 44 ||
Translation
"Not in enemy, not in himself, not in friend, not in the kingdom, not in his mother, not in fortune or misfortune: he has no stake in anything outside, my lord.
