Meaning
The last word of the teaching. Śuka has gained all that is to be gained (prāptavya); his mind is full (pūrṇa-cetas). He does not fall into the seen (na dṛśye patasi): the commentary, to sink into the objects of experience is to fall into the world, and he does not. So he is free (muktaḥ). What remains is only to drop the error (bhrānti) of thinking there is still something more to know. The commentary quotes the Upaniṣad: "he who makes even the slightest difference in it, for him there is fear." The doubt that keeps looking for something beyond is itself that slight difference. "Let go of your error" is a command one can obey only by ceasing to do something, and that is why it frees.
