यदि धर्मो महत्त्वं च यशस्ते मनसि स्थितम् । तन्मह्यं समभिप्रेतमात्मजं दातुमर्हसि ॥ २२ ॥
yadi dharmō mahattvaṁ ca yaśastē manasi sthitam | tanmahyaṁ samabhiprētamātmajaṁ dātumarhasi || 22 ||

"If dharma, greatness and fame are settled in your mind, then you should give me the son I have asked for.
