न च पुत्रकृतं स्नेहं कर्तुमर्हसि पार्थिव । न तदस्ति जगत्यस्मिन् यन्न देयं महात्मनाम् ॥ १९ ॥
na ca putrakṛtaṁ snēhaṁ kartumarhasi pārthiva | na tadasti jagatyasmin yanna dēyaṁ mahātmanām || 19 ||
Translation
"Do not cling to the love you bear your son, O king. There is nothing in this world that may not be given to the great.

Meaning
This is the sharpest line of the request. Everything may be given to the great, even a beloved son: the king is reminded that a gift to a sage is a gift to dharma itself.
