Meaning
The dancer has a partner: niyati, necessity, the fixed order by which every deed must bear its fruit. Kṛtānta loves her above all, the commentary says: he holds to the law that the fruit of what is done shall surely come. Fate and law are lovers, never apart. The reader may find this a consolation as well as a warning: nothing is arbitrary.
