Meaning
The new dance is lāsya, the graceful dance, as opposed to the wild tāṇḍava of destruction. Its form is creation. And its ornaments are old age, grief, sorrow and defeat. Creation and suffering are one dance. The reader is reminded that every new beginning carries its sorrows with it.
