Meaning
Sage Medhas concludes the narrative of the first manifestation. He summarizes that the Goddess (eṣā) appeared as Yoganidrā and was propitiated by Brahmā's hymn. Having finished this story, he invites King Suratha and the merchant Samadhi to listen to the next chapters, which will describe further glories (prabhāvam) of the Devi. The sacred syllables Aiṁ (for wisdom) and Ōṁ mark the end of the chapter.
