दैत्यानां देहनाशाय भक्तानामभयाय च। धारयन्त्यायुधानीत्थं देवानां च हिताय वै ॥ १५ ॥
daityānāṁ dēhanāśāya bhaktānāmabhayāya ca | dhārayantyāyudhānītthaṁ dēvānāṁ ca hitāya vai || 15 ||
Translation
They wield these weapons thus for the destruction of demons’ bodies, for granting fearlessness to devotees, and for the welfare of the gods.
