Meaning
When the imagination of pleasure grows huge, like a fruit hanging from a creeper in the sky, unreal and alluring, then among those even a little greedy, the commentary says, even talk of the Supreme does not arise, still less dispassion. A particle of greed (lobha-lava) is enough to silence the highest conversation. The reader may notice what they talk about when they want something.
