Meaning

Sutāla is a wild creeper that climbs very high. The care that comes with a beloved grows like it: dense with branches, the commentary says, many thoughts about objects; with fruits bitter, sorrows of the next world, and sour, the mixed sorrows of this. Love that binds brings with it a whole creeper of worry, for the beloved's health, faithfulness, wants and future. The reader who has loved knows the creeper.
