Verse 43
ततो हाहाकृतं सर्वं दैत्यसैन्यं ननाश तत्। प्रहर्षं च परं जग्मुः सकला देवतागणाः ॥ ४३ ॥
tatō hāhākṛtaṁ sarvaṁ daityasainyaṁ nanāśa tat | praharṣaṁ ca paraṁ jagmuḥ sakalā dēvatāgaṇāḥ || 43 ||
Translation
'Then, all the demon army, crying out "Alas! Alas!", was destroyed. And all the hosts of gods attained supreme joy.'

Meaning
With their leader dead, the remaining demon army loses all morale and is completely vanquished. Their cries of despair (hāhākṛtam) contrast with the supreme joy (paraṃ praharṣam) of the gods. The cosmic balance is restored, and the heavens are filled with relief and celebration.
