Verse 20
बिडालस्यासिना कायात्पातयामास वै शिरः। दुर्धरं दुर्मुखं चोभौ शरैर्निन्ये यमक्षयम् ॥ २० ॥
biḍālasyāsinā kāyātpātayāmāsa vai śiraḥ | durdharaṁ durmukhaṁ cōbhau śarairninyē yamakṣayam || 20 ||
Translation
'Indeed, with a sword, she severed the head from the body of Bidala. And she sent both Durdhara and Durmukha to the abode of Yama with her arrows.'

Meaning
The Goddess continues her relentless campaign. She uses a sword to behead the demon Bidala. She then turns her arrows towards two other commanders, Durdhara and Durmukha, killing them and dispatching their souls to the realm of death. This verse concludes the description of the slaughter of Mahishasura's main generals, clearing the path for the final confrontation with the demon king himself.
