Verse 38–39
देवा ऊचुः ॥ ३८ ॥ सर्वाबाधाप्रशमनं त्रेलोक्यस्याखिलेश्वरि। एवमेव त्वया कार्यमस्मद्वैरिविनाशनम् ॥ ३९ ॥
dēvā ūcuḥ || 38 || sarvābādhāpraśamanaṁ trēlōkyasyākhilēśvari | ēvamēva tvayā kāryamasmadvairivināśanam || 39 ||
Translation
The gods said: O ruler of all, the removal of all obstacles in the three worlds and the destruction of our enemies should thus be done by you.

Meaning
The gods respond to the Goddess’s offer, preparing to request their desired boon. The gods request the Goddess to remove all obstacles in the three worlds and destroy their enemies, seeking her continued protection.
