Chapter 11 · Ekādaśo’dhyāyaḥ (Eleventh Chapter)
Verse 34
देवि प्रसीद परिपालय नोऽरिभीते- र्नित्यं यथासुरवधादधुनैव सद्यः। पापानि सर्वजगतां प्रशमं नयाशु उत्पातपाकजनितांश्च महोपसर्गान् ॥ ३४ ॥
dēvi prasīda paripālaya nō’ribhītē- rnityaṁ yathāsuravadhādadhunaiva sadyaḥ | pāpāni sarvajagatāṁ praśamaṁ nayāśu utpātapākajanitāṁśca mahōpasargān || 34 ||
Translation
O Goddess, be gracious, protect us always from fear of enemies, as you have now immediately done by slaying the demons; quickly bring pacification of the sins of the entire world and the great afflictions caused by calamities and misfortunes.

Meaning
The gods beseech the Goddess to continue protecting them from enemies, as she did by slaying the demons, and to swiftly purify the world of sins and alleviate major afflictions.
