Meaning
The plea is made to all the sages present (bhavantaḥ, "you", plural). What Rāma asks is fullness (pūrṇatā) within, so that, being full (pūrṇa), he will not grieve again. The commentary: having reached fullness in myself I may become full, so that I never again come to grief in this world. Grief comes from lack; fullness leaves nothing to lack. The word recalls the Upaniṣadic invocation: that is full, this is full. The reader may notice that what they grieve over is always something missing, and ask whether anything could make them full enough not to miss it.
