Translation
Here I worship Mahāsarasvatī, who holds in her lotus hands the bell, the trident, the plough, the conch, the pestle, the discus, the bow and the arrow; radiant as the moon shining when the clouds have passed; born from the body of Gaurī, the support of the three worlds, who struck down Śumbha and the other demons.

Meaning
The third meditation is on Mahāsarasvatī, the Goddess of the last part of the Saptaśatī, who came forth from the body of Pārvatī (Gaurī) and destroyed Śumbha, Niśumbha and their armies. After the three meditations, the book says, worship the Goddess with offerings made in the mind.
