Meaning

Upasaṁhāra means “drawing to a close”. The book says that when the Saptaśatī has been recited in full, the japa of the Navārṇa mantra is done first and the Devī Sūkta recited after it, so the Navārṇa Vidhi is given here again, and everything is done as before. The practitioner recites the viniyoga holding water in the right hand and lets the water fall at the end.
