Meaning
Each of the nine syllables is placed on its own point of the body: touch with the fingers of the right hand, in turn, the crest of the head, the right and left eyes, the right and left ears, the right and left nostrils, the mouth and the secret part. Then, the book says, make the pervading nyāsa eight times with the root mantra: with both hands, stroke the whole body from the head down to the feet.
