Verse 58
न चास्या वेदनां चक्रे गदापातोऽल्पिकामपि। तस्याहतस्य देहात्तु बहु सुस्राव शोणितम्॥ ५८ ॥
na cāsyā vedanāṁ cakre gadāpāto’lpikāmapi | tasyāhatasya dehāttu bahu susrāva śoṇitam || 58 ||
Translation
And his mace strike did not cause her even slight pain. Much blood flowed from his struck body.

Meaning
Raktabīja’s mace strike has no effect on Caṇḍikā, but her attack causes more of his blood to flow, which would normally spawn demons.
