Verse 1–2
ॐ ऋषिरुवाच ॥ १ ॥ चण्डे च निहते दैत्ये मुण्डे च विनिपातिते। बहुलेषु च सैन्येषु क्षयितेष्वसुरेश्वरः ॥ २ ॥
ōṁ ṛṣiruvāca || 1 || caṇḍē ca nihatē daityē muṇḍē ca vinipātitē | bahulēṣu ca sainyēṣu kṣayitēṣvasurēśvaraḥ || 2 ||
Translation
Om. The sage said: With Chanda the demon slain and Munda destroyed, and many armies decimated, the lord of demons.
