Verse 51
तस्याहतस्य बहुधा शक्तिशूलादिभिर्भुवि। पपात यो वै रक्तौघस्तेनासञ्छतशोऽसुराः ॥ ५१ ॥
tasyāhatasya bahudhā śaktiśūlādibhirbhuvi | papāta yō vai raktaughastēnāsañchataśō’surāḥ || 51 ||
Translation
From him, struck in many ways by spears, tridents, and other weapons, a flood of blood fell on the ground, and by that, hundreds of demons arose.

Meaning
The Matrikas’ attacks on Raktabīja cause his blood to spill, resulting in hundreds more demons spawning from the blood that falls to the ground, escalating the crisis.
