Meaning
The book tells who speaks: Vāk, daughter of the sage Ambhṛṇa, a great knower of Brahman who had become one with the Goddess. These are her words. She does not stand beside the gods as one more of them: she moves in every company of them and holds them up, as the one power by which each god is what he is.
