इति श्रीमार्कण्डेयपुराणे सावर्णिके मन्वन्तरे देवीमाहात्म्ये चण्डमुण्डवधो नाम सप्तमोऽध्यायः॥ ७ ॥

iti śrīmārkaṇḍēyapurāṇē sāvarṇikē manvantarē dēvīmāhātmyē caṇḍamuṇḍavadhō nāma saptamō’dhyāyaḥ || 7 ||

Translation

May there be auspiciousness. Thus ends the seventh chapter, named ‘The Slaying of Chanda and Munda,’ of the Devi Mahatmya in the Savarnika Manvantara of the glorious Markandeya Purana.
