Verse 21
अथ मुण्डोऽभ्यधावत्तां दृष्ट्वा चण्डं निपातितम्। तमप्यपातयद्भूमौ सा खड्गाभिहतं रुषा ॥ २१ ॥
atha muṇḍō’bhyadhāvattāṁ dṛṣṭvā caṇḍaṁ nipātitam | tamapyapātayadbhūmau sā khaḍgābhihataṁ ruṣā || 21 ||
Translation
Then Munda, seeing Chanda slain, rushed towards her. She, with anger, struck him with her sword and caused him to fall on the ground.

Meaning
Upon seeing Chanda’s death, Munda charges at the Goddess, but she, in her wrath, strikes him with her sword, causing him to fall dead, completing the slaying of the two demon leaders.
