Verse 26–27
मार्कण्डेय उवाच ॥ २६ ॥ इति दत्त्वा तयोर्देवी यथाभिलषितं वरम् ॥ २७ ॥

Mārkaṇḍēya said: Thus, having given the desired boon to those two, the Goddess,

Meaning
The sage Mārkaṇḍēya resumes the narration, describing the conclusion of the Goddess’s interaction with Suratha and Samādhi. The sage narrates that the Goddess Caṇḍikā granted the boons requested by Suratha and Samādhi, as per their desires expressed in verses 17–18.
