Verse 19–20
देव्युवाच ॥ १९ ॥ स्वल्पैरहोभिर्नृपते स्वं राज्यं प्राप्स्यते भवान् ॥ २० ॥
dēvyuvāca || 19 || svalpairahōbhirnṛpatē svaṁ rājyaṁ prāpsyatē bhavān || 20 ||
Translation
The Goddess said: Within a few days, O king, you will obtain your own kingdom.

Meaning
The narrative shifts to the Goddess Caṇḍikā continuing her address to King Suratha and the merchant Samādhi, responding to their requests for boons. The Goddess Caṇḍikā promises King Suratha that he will soon regain his kingdom, fulfilling part of his request from verse 17.
