Verse 35
जगद्विध्वंसिनि तस्मिन् महोग्रेऽतुलविक्रमे। निशुम्भे च महावीर्ये शेषाः पातालमाययुः ॥ ३५ ॥
jagadvidhvaṁsini tasmin mahōgrē’tulavikramē | niśumbhē ca mahāvīryē śēṣāḥ pātālamāyayuḥ || 35 ||
Translation
With that extremely fierce destroyer of the world, of unmatched prowess, and Nishumbha of great valor slain, the remaining demons went to the netherworld.

Meaning
The sage narrates that after the Goddess slew Shumbha, the world-destroying demon of unmatched prowess, and Nishumbha, of great valor, the remaining demons fled to the netherworld.
