Meaning
The chain of images ends and Rāma gives his own verdict. Fortune is "rich with what was taken" (apahṛtārthinī): wealth is gained, the Dwivedi text explains, from what others have lost; the commentary reads it of those whom death has carried off, whose goods fortune seeks out. And she is "full of hidden cares" (durādhi-parilīnā), mental pains that lie concealed in her like thieves. "I see" (paśyāmi) matters: Rāma is not repeating a doctrine, he reports what he has seen. The reader is invited to look in the same way, without the hope that colours everything, and to say honestly what they see.
