कुमारीं पूजयित्वा तु ध्यात्वा देवीं सुरेश्वरीम्। पूजयेत् परया भक्त्या पठेन्नामशताष्टकम् ॥ १८ ॥
kumārīṁ pūjayitvā tu dhyātvā dēvīṁ surēśvarīm | pūjayēt parayā bhaktyā paṭhēnnāmaśatāṣṭakam || 18 ||
Translation
Having worshipped a maiden and meditated on the Goddess, sovereign of the gods, one should worship with the highest devotion and recite the hundred and eight names.
