Verse 33–34

देवा ऊचुः ॥ ३३ ॥ भगवत्या कृतं सर्वं न किंचिदवशिष्यते ॥ ३४ ॥

dēvā ūcuḥ || 33 || bhagavatyā kṛtaṁ sarvaṁ na kiṁcidavaśiṣyatē || 34 ||

Translation

The gods said: 'O Goddess, everything has been done by you. Nothing remains (unfulfilled).'

Meaning

The gods express their complete satisfaction. The primary purpose for which they invoked her—the destruction of Mahishasura and the liberation of heaven—has been accomplished. They humbly state that their main desire is already fulfilled.
