Verse 31–32
देव्युवाच ॥ ३१ ॥ व्रियतां त्रिदशाः सर्वे यदस्मत्तोऽभिवाञ्छितम् ॥ ३२ ॥
dēvyuvāca || 31 || vriyatāṁ tridaśāḥ sarvē yadasmattō’bhivāñchitam || 32 ||
Translation
The Goddess said: 'O all you thirty gods, let that which is desired from me be chosen (i.e., ask for any boon).'

Meaning
After slaying the demon Mahishasura, the victorious Goddess, gracious and benevolent, offers a boon to the assembly of gods. She invites them to ask for whatever they wish from her.
