Verse 1
ॐ’ राजोवाच॥ १ ॥ विचित्रमिदमाख्यातं भगवन् भवता मम। देव्याश्चरितमाहात्म्यं रक्तबीजवधाश्रितम्॥ २ ॥
‘oṁ’ rājovāca || 1 || vicitramidamākhyātaṁ bhagavan bhavatā mama | devyāścaritamāhātmyaṁ raktabījavadhāśritam || 2 ||
Translation
Om. The king said: This wonderful narrative of the Goddess’s glorious deeds related to the slaying of Raktabīja has been told to me by you, O revered one.
