Verse 53
यशसा वर्धते सोऽपि कीर्तिमण्डितभूतले। जपेत्सप्तशतीं चण्डीं कृत्वा तु कवचं पुरा ॥ ५३ ॥
yaśasā vardhatē sō’pi kīrtimaṇḍitabhūtalē | japētsaptaśatīṁ caṇḍīṁ kṛtvā tu kavacaṁ purā || 53 ||
Translation
He grows in fame upon an earth adorned by his renown. One should first perform the Armour and then recite the Chaṇḍī of seven hundred verses.
