परित्यक्ता देवा विविधविधसेवाकुलतया मया पञ्चाशीतेरधिकमपनीते तु वयसि। इदानीं चेन्मातस्तव यदि कृपा नापि भविता निरालम्बो लम्बोदरजननि कं यामि शरणम्॥ ५ ॥

Translation
Abandoning other gods due to being engrossed in various services, more than fifty years of my age have passed; now, O Mother, if your compassion will not even be there, to whom shall I, without support, go for refuge, O Mother of the large-bellied one?
